Technical Team Leader

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Technical Team Leader to join us full-time remotely (timezone should between GMT+1 to GMT+8).

The Technical Team Leader will be responsible for:


  1. Collaborating with their team to identify and fix technical problems
  2. Guiding their team through technical issues and challenges
  3. Delegating work and assignments to team members (fair tasks assignments)
  4. Creating end goals for their team and achieving daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
  5. Motivating staff and creating a space where they can ask questions and voice their concerns.
  6. Being transparent with the team about challenges, failures, and successes.
  7. Reviewing the team performance
  8. Conduct Scrum meetings

Development Process

  1. Participate in meetings with the management and the team to determine project requirements
  2. Identifying risks and forming contingency plans as soon as possible.
  3. Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
  4. Making sure that the development process is respected
  5. Analyzing existing operations and scheduling training sessions and meetings to discuss improvements.
  6. General Code Quality Assurance
  7. Reviewing Pull Requests
  8. Ensure Code Review Healthiness


  1. Create POCs to ensure the best technical approaches in solution implementations
  2. Partially work on development tasks
  3. Work on documenting new solutions in the product

Customer Support

  1. Technical support troubleshooting
  2. Participate in Support Meetings with customers
  3. Document customer issues and technical solutions

Candidate should:

  • Have a good understanding of Design and User Interface
  • Have prior experience working with developers, leading teams, and managing their work
  • Have solid experience with React & Redux
  • Have a solid understanding of the fundamentals of JavaScript (both ES5, ES6), jQuery, and HTML/CSS
  • Have good knowledge of browser troubleshooting and debugging practices and techniques
  • Have experience with CSS pre-processors
  • Have experience with Node Js for building automation
  • Have very good English verbal and written communication skills

Good to Have:

  1. Experience in working with SharePoint Online/Office 365 and OnPremise
  2. Experience in the Knockout framework
