Job Description

ShortPoint is looking for a technically skilled and detail-oriented Junior/Middle QC Manual Engineer to join our international team. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the quality of a product used by leading enterprises around the world.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain detailed test cases based on specifications

  • Identify and log product defects

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review stories and requirements, as well as to confirm the bug fixes

  • Perform regression testing

  • Participate in meetings to discuss testing priorities and progress

  • Analyze automated test results

  • Support the team with issue detection and defining reliable steps to reproduce

  • Perform exploratory testing

  • Maintain testing reports

Job requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in testing.

  • Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

  • Ability to create clear and concise test cases based on requirements.

  • Familiarity with Jira (or other bug tracking tools).

  • Understanding of manual testing principles and best practices.

  • Strong skills in test design and writing clear, structured test cases.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, distributed team environment.

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset.

  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time efficiently.
